Recognizing this problem, the Registered Accounting Education Tutors (RAETs) in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan has initiated the Chartered Accountancy Scholarship Program.

The objective of this scholarship program is to complement and encourage the existing financial support programs for Chartered Accountancy students and to provide financial relief to academically bright and financially deserving students pursuing this profession. The program aims to support students in paying for their enrolment, registration, examination, and exemption fees. However, retrospective reimbursements are not allowed under this program.

The scholarship also provides a discount on tuition fees and other charges for students enrolled in the Professional Competence Assessment (PCA) and the Certificate in Accounting and Finance (CAF) stages of the Chartered Accountancy program. The discount rates vary from 50-90% and more than 90% depending on the student’s eligibility criteria as recommended by the RAETs.

Moreover, for overseas students who face financial constraints during their final stages of doctoral studies, the program extends monetary support to assist with tuition, thesis evaluation/submission fees, and living expenditures.
Special Support Program Scholarship 2024 by Balochistan
To be eligible for this scholarship, the students must meet certain eligibility criteria such as academic performance in HSSC or equivalent examinations. 
The RAETs must also confirm the eligibility of each student, and the students shall only be entitled to avail of enrolment, registration, examination, and exemption fees that are yet to be paid to the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP).
How to apply
The Chartered Accountancy Scholarship Program offers a one-time award of up to US $15,000 to successful applicants. The funds can cover tuition fees, research or study-related expenses, or living allowances. This program also extends to faculty members of public sector universities and DAIs who are enrolled in a Ph.D. program abroad.
