The federal authorities in Islamabad have officially declared winter vacations for schools and colleges, as announced by the Director General of the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) in a notification. Schools with double shifts will have morning sessions from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm from Monday to Thursday, with Friday classes concluding at 12:30 pm. Evening shifts will be from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm Monday through Thursday, and Friday classes will begin at 2:30 pm after Jumma prayer.
