Ilma University Ilma University formerly the Institute of Business & Technology (IBT) was founded in 2001 within an industry owned by the Global Education Consultants Society (GEC) to help promote the importance of higher education for Pakistan’s socio-economic development.ILMA University is honored to host its 17th Convocation on Wednesday the 09th of February 2025, on the main campus. Then it was transformed into an institute that awards degrees as per an Act of Assembly, Government of Sindh in 2004 and with permission given from the Higher Education Commission.
